Dutch elm disease cases confirmed in Lethbridge, Alta.

Expert confident disease can be contained

Dutch elm disease has been confirmed in the City of Lethbridge, Alta. A couple of trees had displayed symptoms of the disease earlier this month, and lab reports have confirmed what had been suspected. The affected trees have since been removed, and a forestry expert is confident the disease can be contained.
